Fayrene Tackette

   Fayrene Patrick Tackette, age 95, of Seminole Drive, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother Ron Hicks officiating with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Mrs. Tackette was born October 7, 1921, in Science Hill, KY, the daughter of the late Levi Morgan and Maude Creekmore Patrick. She was a homemaker and member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. Fayrene was also a member of the Indian Hills Senior’s Bowling League and she loved to go around with her church and sang at Nursing Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Tackette; her son, Dale Tackette; her brothers, Claude and Clinton Patrick; and her sisters, Fleda Manning, Retha Sutton, Alma Blevins, and Blache Keith.
Survivors include her son, Duane Tackette of Pelham, GA; her daughter, Donna Willow Hamlin and her husband, Dale E. of Hopkinsville, KY; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
