Esther Elwanda Dossett Perez, age 94, of Nelson Drive, Hopkinsville, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday, December 15, 2017, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Ms. Perez was born in Christian County, KY, on February 8, 1923, to the late Guy Otho and Kitty Maude Burchett Dossett. She was a supervisor in press for Elk Brand. Esther was a member of Grace Ministry Church. She is preceded in death by her brother, Otho Eugene Dossett; her sister, Mary Eunice Ezell.

Survivors include her daughters, Holly Perez-Knight of Hopkinsville, and Eugenia Diane Phelps of Hopkinsville; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
