Donna Kay Cherry Mason

   Donna Kay Cherry Mason, age 63, of LaFayette, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at St. Thomas West in Nashville from natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:30 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Crawford officiating and burial to following in Powell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Mrs. Mason was born October 23, 1953, in Clarksville, TN, to Samuel and Louise Cherry of LaFayette. She graduated from Christian Co. High School in 1971. She was a homemaker and an extreme couponer. Donna Kay was a member of LaFayette Baptist Church and also was a volunteer firefighter for LaFayette Volunteer Fire Dept.
In addition to her parents survivors include her husband of 46 years, Woody Mason of LaFayette, KY; her son, Michael A. Mason and his wife, Jennifer of Herndon, KY; her daughter, Heather Meacham and her husband, Dale of LaFayette, KY; her four brothers, Kenneth Cherry of Cadiz, KY, Steve Cherry of LaFayette, KY, Sam “Bucker” Cherry of Hopkinsville, KY, Jerry Linton of Perry, FL; four grandchildren, Mackensie Meacham, Jacob Tyler Mason, Dalton Lee Vaughn, Justin Allen Vaughn; and one great grandson, Abel Lee Vaughn.
